I have to say I am totally in love with Blagovesta Gosheva's designs. I swear she makes these just for me. She has everything I want in a kit and more. And I love the slight grungyness to her kits, and the beauty. And everything is well done, quality wise. If I could I would probably marry her latest kit, Hello Boy. Seriously, I wanted to put everything on the page. But then I made one layout and was amazed at how perfect it was with just a little on it. I mean this kit just makes me giddy with happyness. I got the pleasure of working with another Blagovest Gosheva kit and this time its her wonderful Dino Mania. I tell you I can't get enough of her awesomeness. I absolutely loved everything in this kit and wanted to use it all. No seriously, i wanted everything on the page. I kept adding pieces and more pieces. LOL. And here are my two layouts with it. I tried to do one boy themed (although Connor doesn't really play with dinosaurs much, sarah LOVES them though.) But i think nothing says boy more than a dinosaur!! And the second one I left off the dinosaurs to show how this kit can be used for anything!!

So one day I was searching around Polka Dot plum after hearing Tabby talk about it all the time. While there I fell in love. I loved the look of the forum, how busy it was and then I found this chic, Laura and loved her siggy. A siggy is just a siggy right? well not hers. I dreamed that one day I would get her to do one for me, but really she must charge like 100 dollars cause they are so awesome. Then I signed up for the dsa challenge and saw that she was leading it. At first I didn’t even sign up because I was intimidated by her awesomeness. Then I saw someone else post a thread discussing her awesome signatures and she said she would make me one. I was like a kid who was given a free sucker or something. Don’t laugh, you would be too

Well she made it, and it was awesome, look:

And then she said that we could show her our layouts. And somehow the harder I tried at that darn contest the worse I got. Seriously lol. So one day I decided to show her my layout. She was totally nice and down to earth and not anything like you imagine someone being who is so popular in the digi scrapbooking world. I mean everyone knows her. Everyone stalks her I think lol. See?! Aren’t they pretty. Where was I going with this…OH yes. So in talking to her she also introduced me in a kinda way (you know like she didn’t introduce me i just kinda hijacked a conversation on twitter one day) to a couple of other cool chics, mostly designers. One of them was Laura of simply.scraps. I was totally interested by her. She has purple hair people. I love colored hair. I so wish it was ok to do it more here in alabama. Home of the fuddy duds. As I was playing around at polka dot plum I came across a new designer to me, she isn’t new lol, just I hadn’t seen her wonderful stuff yet. She is amazing, she does a lot of character type kits and centered all around kids. I loved it, she has kits for things that are hard to find elsewhere, like getting glasses, messy babyfood, etc. I just fell in love. 1. Project 365. Not so much like everyone else. But I do want to commit to taking a picture of each child everyday, and do one layout a week summarizing the week, and then do a layout to show the month in review. I love it. Its a great idea. Over on my family blog I will post each days pictures and explain about them. Here I will post the weekly layouts.

2. I am also going to set a goal of 365 layouts this next year. Which should be easy. We will see :)

I am going to limit to those two because I think those are two pretty big ones.

Do you know Teri from Teri Thing Oh My Jigs? If you don't, you should. She is an amazing woman. And I love being on her team. Actually I have the best designers in the world. All of them, and I am not just saying that.

Teri makes me a better scrapper, she challenges me, her designs challenge me, her expectations do. And I have to say I was intimidated at first, but I love it now. I find myself bringing all of my layouts to her because she is going to tell it like it is, but is the most loving, caring person I know.

This month I got the chance to work with GET designs kit called Love in Bloom. I tell you I am loving this kit too. And I promise to do a boyish kit next.
